Biography






Lasisi Babatunde Damilare, a visual artist whose flair and likeness for human figure, mostly portrait is indicative in his paintings. He is a National Diploma graduate from The Polytechnic, Ibadan. Currently studying painting at Yaba College of Technology, HND in view.
He is a Nigerian, hail from Ibadan, Oyo state, born in Agege, Lagos state. His love for art started from childhood, he loves sketching and scribbling on any surface with any medium, anywhere he found himself. He loves keeping his hands busy all the time; this made him a genius among his peers.
During his secondary education period, he learned comic drawing from friends, he draws and sells the duplicates to his fellow students keeping the original drawings to himself, though he wasn’t the best in his class but he always find a way out in other to be exceptional.
He trained at the Universal Studios of Art, there he acquired a proficient skills in drawing and painting with diverse medium, Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) 2014-15, Indusrial Training (IT) 2016, under the tutelage and supervision of great masters, Mr. Olaku Abiodun, Joshua Nmesirionye and other great master therein.
